Song Qian (Chinese: 宋茜; pinyin: Sòng Qiàn), better known as Victoria Song or mononymously as Victoria was born February 2, 1987, is a Chinese singer, dancer and model, leader of the 5 member South Korean girl group f(x). A Mandarin-speaking Mainland Chinese, Victoria is one of the three non-Korea-born members of f(x) along with Taiwanese-American Amber and American-Korean Krystal, and as of 2011, she is considered one of the four best recognized celebrities of Chinese origin active in South Korea, along with Fei and Jia from girl group Miss A, and fashion model Wei Son

Victoria Song was born in Qingdao, Shandong. She left home town at very young age to study Chinese Traditional Dance at the prestigious Beijing Dance Academy.[2] After her high school graduation, she was accepted to the Beijing Dance Academy and majored in Chinese ethnic dance.[3] In September 2007, Victoria was spotted by a SM agent at a Beijing dance competition, and later joined the company.[2] Before she entered the Korean music industry under SM Entertainment, she first debuted in Korean singer Kangta's music video (ETERNITY), where she was a big fan of Kangta and as a loyal fan, she followed Kangta to fan meetings and concerts.

Victoria's outward appearance and skilled dancing caught the eyes of a talent agent during a dance competition held in Beijing in September 2007, and she was recommended to audition for SM Entertainment. She passed the auditions that same month and began preparing for her modeling career in South Korea

Victoria's first media appearance was for a Spris commercial in early 2008 with South Korean singer-actor Lee Jun-ki. A Spris publicist noted, "While Victoria Song is just a rookie, she carries a lot of potential. Whether she decides for a modeling career or an acting career, I can see a bright future ahead of her. Having such an innocent and playful image, she is very suitable to model our company's brand."[2] In April 2008, Victoria was signed to model for Samsung in a music video with Korean actor-singer Rain, and drew attention from the Chinese audience.

In August 2009, she was introduced as the leader of quintet dance group, f(x).

On June 2010, she was announced to be an cast member to We Got Married, pairing up with Nichkhun of 2PM (Thailand). The couple earned unexpected popularity as they were the first foreign couple in the program. In September 2011, the highly popular Korean show ended. Khuntoria was the couple's name in "We Got Married."

She is a new member of G7 in Invincible Youth Season 1 replacing the old member Sunny, Yuri from Girls' Generation and 4minute's Hyuna. The first season has already ended at the end of 2010.
She has guest-starred on the Korean comedy show Running Man on episode 8 at the Seoul Museum of History, Gyeonghui Palace
